I am one of 12 women worldwide chosen to participate in the Millionaire Women's Entrepreneur Bootcamp in the UK this fall. I will also be part of a new educational television network coming in November featuring all the big names on the speaking circuit.
I love to share what I know with tens of thousands of people every week, including the struggles and problems I have encountered along the road. It’s often persistence and perseverance that pave the way to success.
I believe that if you have marketing knowledge, you can persuade people to purchase, get involved, even change the world. You have the power to create your own destiny. So simply figure out what you REALLY want in life. Then create a job that gets you that life and be the best at it.
After graduating from Sheridan, I started my first business as a software consultant which eventually took me to Toronto. Passionate about the marketing aspect of the business, I took the direct sales copywriting skills I had learned at Sheridan and applied them to internet marketing to great success. My bestselling book, 31 Days to Millionaire Marketing Miracles (an A-Z guide to starting an internet marketing or online business), launched to #1 on the day it released and stayed in the top 4% for almost two years because of effective marketing.
Following the book’s success, I received high-end internet marketing coaching requests from American companies. So it became more timely and cost effective to operate from the United States. Also, my children, who had started acting in Toronto, were doing well and wanted to be close to Hollywood. So we moved to Burbank. California.
After winning the New Internet Marketing Success of the Year in 2007 at the World Internet Mega Summit, I expanded my reach to the world stage as a keynote and platform speaker for internet marketing money making methods.
It was my start at Sheridan that made me an entrepreneur for life. Twenty-five years later, I am making an impact around the world, and in a time when the economy is suffering and people need to look for alternative ways to create cash. What I do has become bigger than myself.
