The honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, will make an announcement regarding new funding to provide ehnanced language training for immigrants in Oakville and Brampton.

The Centre for Internationally Trained Individuals was created to assist newcomers to Canada who have been here for three years or less, and who need a higher level of English proficiency in order to achieve their career goals. The Centre provides a bridge-to-work-program comprised of English language training, work placement, and an academic program.
