Spread the Net Campaign

B-wing Hallway, Trafalgar Road Campus, Oakville

SPREAD THE NET CAMPAIGN
Thursday, February 17th, Trafalgar Campus
11:00 am – 2:00 pm

Laura Ball and the Accessible Learning Services Peer Mentors will be in the B-Wing hallway at the Trafalgar Campus on Thursday, February 17th from 11am-2pm raising money to help children fight malaria in Africa. The “Spread the Net” campaign is featured on “The Rick Mercer Report” and is in collaboration with UNICEF Canada.

Together with Spread the Net, we’re fighting malaria! Providing children with insecticide-treated bed nets is the best way to control malaria. Join us and help protect kids in malaria endemic countries in Africa.

Sheridan is part of the Spread the Net Student Challenge. In addition to helping to save lives in Africa, we are competing against other schools across Canada for a visit from Spread the Net co-founder Rick Mercer and for the chance to appear on an episode of The Rick Mercer Report in 2011!

In the time you spend reading this e-mail, a child in Africa will have died from malaria. But Spread the Net is making a difference.

1 NET.  $10 BUCKS.   SAVE LIVES!
