Go Purple for Prevention! Davis Campus, October 13th, 2009
October is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Educating adults, children & youth on key prevention strategies is the major goal of Boost's Go Purple for Prevention Campaign launched across Canada in October. Together, Counselling Services and Student Leadership and Engagement will be hosting the Go Purple for Prevention outreach.

It’s Natural to Protect Campaign.
Make a promise to our children to Teach, Guide and Protect Them.
Boost is launching a national prevention campaign called "It’s Natural to Protect". The campaign is based on the concept that animals intuitively take care of their young and vulnerable members and that humans can learn a great deal from this simple message. Boost has been given exclusive permission to use these materials in support of child abuse prevention month in October. Over 60 municipalities in Ontario have pledged their support of this important campaign for child abuse prevention and planned special events in their communities to raise awareness of this issue.
